My pastel portrait of Andy can currently be seen (till 3rd January 2018) in the Filmhouse café in Edinburgh. It was completed in one of Anna’s morning classes for the Edinburgh Drawing School, held at our flat on Haddington Place.
This is one of my favourite portraits of my husband Chris, done using watercolour without any underdrawing. I’m particularly happy with the accurate hands, very important to musicians! The outfit is typical for his performances as music duo Hyperborea.
It was a mixed experience to get this site set up, so I hope it is of interest to some!
